the cognitive dissonance amongst jws has never been more obvious to me then what i just experience in the last 5 min.

long story short i had a phone conversation w/my mom about some things and i mentioned to her to look up what has been going on with their beloved organization in australia.

brother geoffrey jackson of the holy governing body was caught lying numerous times about several subjects including disassociations & shunning.

Londo and his videos!

i think this month is two years since i saw londos videos on when ancient jerusalem was destroyed.

those videos started the whole awaking process.

Those videos started the whole awaking process. By Oct 2013 I was fully awake.

It seems like 10 or 15 years since I left the WT Organization. I believe the reason being is that so much has changed in two years.

When I left there was;

No JWbroadcasting,

JWdotOrg was just a .

No JWdotOrg flags and emblems

No mobile carts,

No ATM’s at conventions

They were still called conventions

We still had two day assemblies

People would bring their Bibles to the Kingdom Hall

You would get taken to the back and counseled if you brought a IPad to the Hall.

Bethel had not been vacated

There was still District Overseers.

Still had Two meetings during the Circuit Overseer Visit

Had One anointed brother under age 25 in the hall now there is three under 25 years of age.

Sisters could marry a brother that was not a ministerial Servant without being reproached.

There are 10 less young ones in my old Kingdom Hall. Parents are sad they don’t want the tRuTh.

Still had coordinators age 70 and up.

My Kingdom Hall had been paid off for about 25 years and they had a ton of money in the Bank. Now they have a regular payment and it’s an old hall. .

Never heard of the terms “Tight Pants and spandex.

Never seen a GB giving a talk on TV.

Never seen a GB pleading for money on TV. Wow just like a Jimmy Swaggart.

Never seen or imagine something like the Royal Commission exposing all the sexual cover-ups by the WT

Never seen Bethel workers dancing to songs like “Happy” on YouTube.

Never seen an EX-jw YouTube video.

Had no idea what JWSTRUGGLE OR JW SURVEY was.

Didn’t know AJWRB Existed.

I still believed Noah gathered all the animals around the world into an ARK.

Still believed I was living in the last days.

This is what has happened to the organization in just two years.

And none of my friends including my Ex can see this.

if the righteous and the unrighteous will be resurrected, and will have the same chance at paradise as the hard-core dubs, what was the point of being hard core?

i know the point used to be "well, armageddon is gonna happen this weekend, and you'll survive and they won't!

The real problem was that the Watchtower had every teaching upside down. A person has to tear everything he learned from the WT and start over from scratch.

The local hall just got fleeced for $15,000!

the local hall recently sold some property to the state for a road improvement project that is sorely needed.

they received about $20,000.

guess what?

Don't feel to bad, Wednesday morning I'm taking two elderly sisters to a law office so they can change their Wills. They are removing the Watchtower. I know they had willed their houses which value I estimate at about 100k each. What I didn't know was that one of them had kept a life insurance policy going- that was supposed to go to her children but they died before her. She kept paying it for "Kingdom Interest" or shall we just say it, "The Watchtower"

Now it's going to someone else, 300k

So that's a total of about half a million in property and cash the Watchtower will not get.

That just makes my week.

Why Me?

do you ever wonder why out of all the witnesses, you are the one that woke up?

i wonder many times why me.

i know many men and women that are much, much better persons than me; either they are much smarter, more humble, kinder, more successful, or just better persons all around.

Magnum I had to read you post a couple of times. Man if you could give this as a talk in one of the conventions or better yet in the annual jwtv, a lot of people would leave the Watchtower crying. What a paradox, you have something that can help millions wake up, and yet no opportunity to use it. It's so frustrating. I want to tell all my friends to read your post but I can't.

But I just got an idea, I will memorize it and use it at the next opportunity.

Sister attendants not able to give directions to a brother..Misogyny

at our recent rc i was advised by a sister who was an attendant that they have been advised not to be able to give brothers directions as this should be dealt with by the brothers.

apparently at the pre-convention attendants meeting, the sisters were asked to stay behind.

this was when they were given the news that the brothers should deal with brothers.

the embarrassing situation of a brother asking the sister for directions. The sister just looked at the brother and said 'I'm afraid i can't help you, you'll have to ask the brother who i'm attending with'.

That's just crazy, no other way to explain it. Poor people.

Is it More Difficult for Us?

it seems that as ex jw's, we have a harder time with ttatt then other religions.

is that just because we claim to only use the bible unlike mormons?

is it because they like no other religion keep claiming to be jehovah's organization?

It’s hard because you were promised that you wouldn’t die.

You were promised that you would live forever in paradise earth.

It was explained perfectly why there was wickedness on the earth and why we grow old and die.

Then after many years and when your life is almost over, they pull the carpet under your feet and take away your family.

Other religions don’t do these things.

Driving Force
When I first became a witness I use to think, "Why do I have the privilege of knowing the truth", now I think, "Why do I have the privilege to know TTATT".
Oh shit, I went in a complete circle, and it took me nearly thirty years to do so.

It better not be a half circle, I don't think I can take any more awakings. Plus I don't have another 30 years.

Yea I liked Dexter. Serial killer BUT, only killed those who deserved it. True Justice. No beating around the bush. No judicial committees. No two witness rule. No waiting for Jehovah to take care of the matter. And he always got away with it. Like someone higher was watching over him so he could mete out justice.
